While working for The Permanent Record, LLC, Kelly has worked on large general transcription projects as well as writing articles on subjects such as parenting and health and nutrition. She’s been with the company since April, 2006, when she graduated at the top of her class with a Medical Coding and Transcription Certificate. She also holds an NCICS (National Certified Insurance and Coding Specialist) certificate.

Adept at ICD-9, CPT-4, and HCPCS medical coding, she can also accurately transcribe various medical documents, including history and physical, operative and pathology reports, and conference calls, and has a documented 77 wpm typing speed. During her coursework, she excelled at anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and pharmacology math. She is currently a member of the NTHS (National Technical Honor Society).

Kelly also has an extensive administrative assistance experience and is comfortable using Microsoft Office software. She’s worked as a customer service agent in the call center industry, and is comfortable making both outbound and taking inbound phone calls; and she is also experienced using a multi-line telephone system.

She also possesses strong writing skills, and has worked for both public and collegiate newspapers as both a newspaper reporter and editor.

Her strong work ethic paired with her dedication would make her an asset to any virtual office. She is committed to completing each job effectively and efficiently, and strongly believes in developing an open and honest line of communication with each client. She isn’t afraid to ask questions and will take it upon herself to research a subject or issue in order to develop a top-notch final product or resolve a problem to her customer’s utmost satisfaction.
